-
Swedish
- A full
body relaxing massage to ease sore muscles and promote a sense of
well-being.
-
Deep Tissue
– A
combination of Swedish massage, neuromuscular techniques, and trigger
point therapy on areas of the body needing extra care due to overuse,
injury, or tension.
-
Hot Stone Massage
-
Massage applied
with heated Basalt stones, worn smooth with time, creates a
sensation of comfort and warmth.
Hot
stone massage is especially good for poor circulation, muscular
aches and pains, arthritis, and insomnia.
-
Reflexology
– Based
on the principle that there are zones on the feet and hands that
correspond to every area of the body.
-
Shiatsu
- An Asian form
of massage performed on a comfortable mat on the floor.
You remain clothed and are gently stretched and pressed
to balance your acupuncture points. Some health benefits
are increased flexibility, stress reduction, relief from
muscle soreness, lowered blood pressure, decreased
anxiety, and an increased awareness of mind and body
issues.

-
Craniosacral Therapy
(CST) – Using a soft touch, generally no greater
than the weight of a nickel, the therapist releases
restrictions in the spinal areas of your head, neck,
shoulders, and back. This results in improved function
of your nervous system, releasing patterns of disease
and congestion. CST is especially beneficial for
migraines, chronic neck and back pain,
motor-coordination impairments, orthopedic problems,
scoliosis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, chronic
fatigue, TMJ, immune disorders, and PTSD.
-
Myofascial Therapy
– This hands-on technique releases the connective tissue
(fascia) that surrounds and protects your muscles from
head to toe. Your muscles become more flexible, more
hydrated, and generally able to prevent injuries and
strain. Myofascial therapy increases range of motion and
reduces limits caused by scarring, repetitive trauma,
poor posture, stress, and inflammation. Many problems
that haven’t responded to traditional medical
intervention can be relieved with this method, including
back and hip pain, migraines, TMJ, menstrual problems,
neck pain, post-surgery trauma, sports injuries,
sciatica, and disc problems.
-
Herbal Massage – A warm,
moist knotted cloth filled with
herbs is massaged along acupressure
zones of your body. Benefits are
increased blood flow and lymphatic
drainage which boosts your immunity
and vitality. The herbs’ astringent
properties draw out toxins
purifying, cleansing, and soothing
your skin.
-
Reiki
-
a deeply relaxing treatment developed in Japan
that has been practiced for thousands of years.
After the tension is released from your body,
Reiki energy allows your body to heal itself. In
this way, a Reiki treatment is similar to the
restorative power of a good night’s sleep,
condensed into one hour. You lie on a massage
table and remain clothed
while the Reiki
practitioner places her hands on places of pain,
tension, or dysfunction. Each
treatment is
tailored to your needs.
-
Chair Massage
- Upper body relaxation to your head, neck, shoulders,
back, arms, and hands with seated massage. Rest
comfortably on a specially designed chair while
receiving firm pressure through your clothing. Call us
for arrangements at your event or workplace
